The word “sikhulisa” is the Zulu word for “nurture”. This is the core of our foundation – to nurture those in need.

Initially founded and continually supported by K5 Business, we are an independent charity run by volunteers from the local community. We have strict governance and controls in place to ensure that all volunteer time and all donations are spent wisely and solely for the causes that we support.

Our mission is to make a difference and change the world one person at a time. We focus on three fundamental components:

Educate the Poor

Education is the key to unlocking a brighter tomorrow. Our goal is to provide skill-based workshops and educational programmes to rural areas that need them most.

Feed the Hungry

A hungry nation is an unproductive one. We seek to provide nutritious meals that sustain a healthy body and mind. We aim to run feeding programmes, food drives and events in order to achieve our goal.

Assist the Disabled

Helping those that cannot help themselves is something we strongly advocate. We want to be able to assist the disabled with daily activities, a positive outlook on life and to give them a sense of self. With your help, we can achieve a healthier, more productive and enlightened nation.
